Feb Bundle: Lots of Interesting Stuff!

Feb Bundle: Lots of Interesting Stuff!

Happy almost spring, dear AAPA! Fern & I busy doing our rain dance in hopes of getting some precipitation this week!

Well my goodness, the February Bundle is small but so filled with lots of interesting stuff!

First, a warm welcome to brand new Recreational Science! Paige Breault's Issue #1 is filled up with some really nice line drawings & a great batch of intriguing stuff about the world of nature! Reading along, I am in as deep thought as I was in college science lectures!! Welcome, Recreational Science, we look so forward to Issue #2!

Well Ivan Snyder's Odds & Ends #50 is not only bringing a giant smile to everybody, but also, in my case, has me happy I can read 8 pt. Bookman Oldstyle so easily! I have loved Bookman since my college design class days! And yup, all of AAPA can celebrate with ya that 'tis true...  Once a printer, always a printer! Yay!

Danny & Marsha Kelly, oh gosh, Fern & I love reading about type! In "Cold Type", here, we learn the difference between hot type & cold type, & reading along, we can almost hear the clackedy clackedy of a happy Linotype clinkin' along...

Fred! So might good to hear from ya! We have Fred Moe's Farm & Wilderness Report, #23, about an intriguing happening from way back in the 1970s! A wonder-full collaboration by Editor Fred & Printer Ivan!

Sean Wilmut has created yet another amazing edition of the Philomat Magazine! Exquisitely put together with a piece from the New England Courant of 1723! And also including a piece originally printed by our printing forefather Ben Franklin! Sean, thank you so much for taking us all to visit the beginnings of printing history! Fern & I just know that Ben would have been an enthusiastic contributor to the AAPA bundles!

Well so....Fern & I also most humbly hope our story, "Sit & Gather", and our cartoon strip, "Mrs.Green's Room", have brightened AAPA's day!

As always, we are most grateful to ALL of this month's contributors, & to all of AAPA for contributing the previous gift of audience. Everybody please stay well! See ya next month, for our happily awaited theme Bundle!
