Ink Cahoots has been an annual AAPA project since 1973. Individual members produce 4½ by 6 inch pages that are combined into a booklet by the coordinator. Deadline for submissions is August 31.
Last year's edition, which attracted 21 participants, appeared in the October bundle.
This year, participants need to submit 145 copies of their page. Please use book-weight paper rather than heavy card stock. Leave at least a ½ inch margin on the side of the page that will be stapled.
Any AAPA member can produce a page for Ink Cahoots. Details can be found on the Ink Cahoots Information page. You can also contact coordinator Dave Tribby at website@AAPAinfo.org
Amateur journalism is a unique activity. Amateur journalists publish journals on paper & online & come from many perspectives: from deluxe letterpress printed journals, to Xeroxed newsletters, to artistically designed cards and ephemera. We embrace the spirit of being amateurs – loving what we do for pure joy and not financial gain – while creating top quality journals, zines, and homemade publications.
